At the 15th International Congress of Arachnology, Badplaas, South Africa, March 2001
Professional biologist, working in the pharmaceutical industry. Spider work is a hobby, gone slightly out of control. Myxomycetes are heading in the same direction.
Research associate, on a voluntary basis, of the Royal Museum for Central Africa, Tervuren.
Main study objects:
African tropical spiders belonging to Liocranidae and Corinnidae ("Clubionidae sensu lato").
Mediterranean spiders of all families.
Did extensive work on the Afrotropical spider genus Hortipes Bosselaers & Ledoux 1998.
Some sketches of material studied, e. g. type material from MNHN (Paris).
Some diagnostic drawings of European spiders.
Also studying myxomycetes and fond of mushrooms in general.
Every now and then, I find weird life forms on this planet: here I show a few of them!
